Question by jadebumbera: Our Vet sd to put our dog on low sodium diet. We found Dick Van Pattens Natural Balance food. Any thoughts?
Buddy is allergic to Eggs but nothing else. We wanted to put him on a dog food that had meats as the main ingredients and not corn or Meal products. Please advise.

I give our dogs venison & rice formula by Nature’s Recipe. It seems to agree with them & it does not contain any corn or by products, artificial ingredients, or preservatives, no added chemicals. My one dog’s allergies have subsided. I’m glad your taking an interest in your pets diet; I am an animal lover & I stay away from the commercial foods, & am going holistic, my dogs are too.

I have tried many different dog foods and this one is the most tasty and filling.

Question by mosley88: Has anyone been having recent problems with Natural Balance Duck and Potato dog food?
I gradually switched my lab to it about a month ago trying to solve some skin allergy problems. He did great on the first bag (17 lbs) so i bought a 30 lb. bag. A couple days into this bag he lost all energy and wasn’t interested in eating it at all. He just slept all day and acted ill. He even puked once. Anyone having similar issues?

Question by Mustang: Which is a better quality dog food? Eagle Pack Holistic, Natural Balance, or Avoderm?
And which one of these dog foods produces the least stool volume?

Question by Coonhound Girl(Wallflower): What are people’s experiences with Natural Balance dog food? ?
I have friends that swear by Natural Balance and they keep trying to get me to consider the grain-free Natural Balance for my Bluetick Dale. He is doing well on Orijen – and I’d like to keep him on it. But if I had to – I do consider Natural Balance a possible replacement should I need to. It runs about 20 dollars cheaper per bag – I could get 1 more bag per month for the same price I pay for 2. Right now – I don’t want to switch, but I would like some feedback on this dog food. Thanks.

I used to feed my dogs Natural Balance, it’s a very good dog food, made from whole products and real meats. It’s hypo-alergenic too, which is a plus if your dog has any kind of allergies. Can be a bit pricy though

The world is coming to an end!! seriously!! you know how people complain bout theres so many dogs and cats in the world maybe!! just maybe they did this to kill the population!! I dont know anymore! my baby died from this stupid recall!…Well its gonna come back and bite them in the a$ $ ! if nothing does than i will! cuz im tired of this! they dont need to die they keep us happy!

Hey, well it really depends on what kind of dog u have…my dog only likes eukanuba and my other dog only likes ol’ roy
I suggest Iams and eukanuba!
but thats a good kind of food too!
