well, i raw feed my dogs, but i still like to keep a heads up on the kibble. lately it seems like every big and small company out there are making “natural” dog food kibble. so what do you think is best food?(with understanding that all dogs wont do best on the same food)

Innova, Eagle Pack, Wellness, or Natural Balance. Blue Buffalo is also very good. I personally use Natural Balance.

Very good dog food. My mom feeds her cats Natural Balance Green Pea & Duck Dry Cat Food and my dad feeds his cat Natural Balance Ultra Premium Dry Cat Food. My grandmother gives her two cats Natural Balance Reduced Calorie Dry Cat Food.

P&G bough Natura out but has only made positive changes like the grain free california natural that’s better then the old one same ingredients just grain less do you think they will keep natura top notch and continue to make positive foods? I don’t think they would worst the food after paying all that money they know people aren’t going to buy it if they change it but what you think?

It has always been grain free. I like it but my dogs don’t digest it all that well

i use to give our dog natural balance the ones with venison n rice in it. damn he loved it. i miss him died in FEB. old age at 14. sigh.

anyways thats a great food brand imo. go for it.

also agree with others that dogs need meat in their diet.

I switched my puppy to this brand and sometimes my puppy eats cat food sometimes and it never bothers him, and sometimes eats my mom’s dog’s food kibbles and bits, it also doesnt bother him, but it seems that when he eats this natural balance it gives him diarrhea

if it gives him diarrhea then maybe its time to swith to another brand

but it could be cuz hes eating all these differnet types of dog food

Try wellness dog food

its natural with no corn or by products

i have my dogs on them and they love it and there doing great on it

i had a neighbor who used natural balance and they switched to wellness and they were happy they did

It’s bad enough that you are ignoring your own carnivorous needs, but do not force your beliefs on your dog, who can not defend himself, or his natural instincts to eat meat. Think of it this way, if your dog was in the wild, would he eat plants or another animal. It is the way of the world, grow up.

It is up there with good foods to feed. My first choice would be Innova or anything made by Natura. (Innova, EVO, California Natural).

My second choice would be Wellness.

Third choice would be Timber wolf Organics or Canidae

and then would follow Solid Gold and others. Check out Innova. You can’t go wrong.

Probably feeding raw has fewer additives. Not sure about the price. I imagine it would be pretty expensive.
